Description: Northern Electric Model 554Antique Wooden Tube Radio/ Broadcast Receiver/ WW2 TunerMade in Canada I am not a radio expert by any means, Typically I do not like to power these old units up for rear of damaging the components due to age and unknown state. There does appear to have been some restoration? As the wood finish is in very nice condition, the speaker has major repairs to the cone, the dial cover is plastic which I am not sure if that would be original or not? Missing one rear mounting screw.Has mix matched tubes from Admiral, Rogers, LPQ. Research shows me this radio was manufactured in 1939 and 1940. See all photos for condition.Sold as found.
