ISSN 0028 6362 NME (or) New Musical Express began in 1952. It was published in newsprint until around 1998, when it moved to a magazine format. It chronicled British Music, Gonzo Journalism, Punk Rock, rise of Hip Hop and Grunge, following the music of the time as it was hitting the scene in the United Kingdom. Like other newspaper print music periodicals similar to this, these are full of interviews, artcles, photographs, reviews, concert ads, cartoons, pub ads, product placement ads, music charts and all KINDS of great little snapshots of music lore, progression, and also styles and trends of the time. Lots of hair, makeup, keyboards, Wrangler jeans... gloves, fishnets, dreds.... I'm only noting a PORTION of the paper contents, what jumps out at me. There is so much more! Condition: Each issue is in solid good+ to very good condition. You will see light toning to the edges, common tearing primarily to edges, no brittleness.
