Description: NIVADA Automatic Alertamatic, LEMANIA caliber 2980, ref. 9751, mens watch, 1972 Maker: NivadaModel: AlertamaticReference: 9751Year: 1972Case No: N/AMovement No: 3059887Material: Yellow gold plateDimensions: 39mm width x 44mm height; 13.75mm thicknessCrystal: PlexiglassLume: Yes, tritiumCaliber: Nivada-signed Lemania, self-winding, caliber 2980Lug Width: 20mmBox/Papers: No The rare vintage alarm watch we have here is in good overall condition, measuring 39mm in diameter. It features an orange triangle as an alarm indicator on a rotating circular disc in the middle, similar to the ones made by Jaeger-LeCoultre/LeCoultre in the Memovox series. The gold-plated case has an interesting shape, with bold lines. It has wear, hairline scratches and a lot of tiny marks/signs/dents. There is wear to the plating especially on the edges. Since the metal of the case is rather brass, the discoloration is not as noticeable, but only if you look very closely. Also on the back of the case there are some signs of old oxidation, on the left edge. The engravings on the stainless steel cover are all crisp and readable. The stunning brown dial is very clean with a slight patina on inner disc. Original hands, in very good condition. The alarm pusher and crown are the old original; they show some wear on the plating. The Lemania caliber 2980, is in very good condition, has been checked and adjusted and works strong with very good accuracy. The alarm and date functions work properly as they should.Except the Omega, some other brands such as Nivada, Bucherer, Sicura and Breguet, used this caliber, for their versions of alarm watch. (Setting and arming the alarm is all done through the chronograph pusher-looking button near two o'clock. In fact, this "pusher" does not push down at all. Pulling it out all the way allows for the alarm time to be adjusted, indicated by the orange arrow on the Alertamatic's inner disc, while leaving the pusher in the middle position arms the alarm. All winding and time-setting is done through the more conventional-looking crown at four o'clock, but in order to set the time, the pusher at two needs to be pulled out to the first position (half way out). A small button right at three o'clock allows for quick-setting the date). I will accept a reasonable offer. If the watch is sold outside the EU, a lower value will be declared for customs. This item is listed on additional ebay sites in EURO currency.Fast international shipping (worldwide delivery 1-4 working days) ------------------------------- I personally guarantee that it's all I say it is and there's no risk.I personally guarantee all statements made regarding the item's condition and strongly suggest should you have any further questions to contact me for additional clarification.I use very enlarged pics, because I want you to see clearly what you are buying.
