Description: Nippon Pink Yellow Blue Chrysanthemum & Raised Gold Gilt Scrollwork Large Bowl Very pretty porcelain scalloped edge bowl. Nicely decorated with large hand painted dark pink, yellow and blue chrysanthemum flowers over a light green background. Surrounded by gold gilt floral, scrollwork and seaweed designs. With a border of dark forest green, gold beading, and gold gilding. This plate originally had a mark on the bottom that was scratched off. It appears to have been the blue Maple leaf and Nippon Hand Painted mark. This mark was used between 1891 and 1911. Has some wear to the gilding, but no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 12 1/4 inches wide x 5 1/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
