Description: Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Pink & Blue Rose & Gold Beaded Cake Plate Nice porcelain cake plate. Decorated with a border of hand painted pink, yellow, and blue roses with gold gilt highlights. Gold beading along the edge. This mark was used by the Morimura Brothers in Nippon (Japan) between 1911 and 1921. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 11 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
