Description: This stunning little Nippon vase has the blue stamp with wreaths and M in the center. The top of the handle has an old repair. I never noticed it until getting it ready to list. It appears to have been professionally done. Heavily decorated with gold. The front and back have roses. It has a decorative handle that looks like a vine or branch. The spout curves in at the top. It measures 7" high X 6 1/4" L X 4 1/2" D. This piece was my granny's and I've had it on a shelf or display cabinet for decades. It's looking for a new home now. I know very little about it's history other than it's been in my family for a very long time. I found some info about the mark: M-in-Wreath, hand-painted ("M" stands for importer, Morimura Bros.); found in green, blue, magenta & gold. Mark used 1911 – 1921. So this piece is from sometime within that time frame. It's in good condition other than the repair. Some wear to the gold trim. I ship same or next business day. It will be double boxed to insure it's safe arrival.
