It is laminated to the glass screen lens so there is a gap between them.This prevents dust from getting inside and the display is right up to the surface like a modern smartphone.The screen has multiple settings and options accessible from the OSD menu. How to use the screen: Quick brightness adjustment:-Spin the Contrast wheel up or down to increase or decrease the screen brightness. There are 20 brightness levels. Change color palette:-Press the Contrast wheel in to change the color palette. There are 8 color palettes and each one is customizable through the OSD. OSD menu controls:-Press and hold the Contrast wheel in to open the OSD menu. -Spin the wheel up or down to move the selection arrow.-Press the wheel in to select an option to adjust.-Spin the wheel up or down to adjust highlighted option.-Press the wheel in to exit and save changes or hold the wheel in to exit and cancel changes.-Press and hold the wheel in to close the OSD menu (it will also automatically close when idle).
