A first printing of his first book, Nine Chains to the Moon published by J.B. Lippincott Company in New York. Condition: 8vo. 408 pages with appendix and two, fold-out charts at the rear. Publishers' distinctive copper metallic colored cloth with black print to the front and spine and map endpapers. Just light edgewear with a bump to the corners and softening to the spine ends. Pages are slightly tanned with heavy toning to pages 52-53 where a clipping was removed. The dust jacket is in very good condition with the $4.00 price intact on the lower front flap. Some chipping to the fold and spine ends, a closed tear has been repaired on upper front cover. A bit of toning a foxing visible on the back cover and rear fold. Overall, a very good and quite collectible copy of Bucky Fuller's important first book.
