NIKON NIKKOR 135MM f2.0D-DC AF LENS, BOX, CAPS, HN-20, DOCS

Description: Used Nikon AF DC-Nikkor "Defocus Image Control" 135mm f2.0 telephoto lens in fixed metal Nikon F/AF/Ai-S mount with caps, IB and box as shown. Serial number "US 514xxx", made in Japan. Excellent condition except for a previous owner removed the built-in hood and replaced it with a screw-in Nikon metal HN-20 hood. We understand the original hood was troublesome, tending to stick such that you couldn't put the cap on. We suspect this was his fix. Google it. Glass and coatings fine, no issues, ready to use. No separation, no fungus, no cleaning marks/scratches that we can see, no fog. The glass is very clear. Aperture leaves free of oil, operate as they should. Focus and aperture rings move smoothly as they should. Cosmetics excellent as you can see, but not quite mint. If you're looking for a nice example of one of these lenses please consider this one. NOTE: There seems to be a lot of mis-understanding and conflicting information regarding how this lens works and how well it works with various Nikon D-SLR bodies. Please do your research regarding compatibility with your Nikon D-SLR camera body/bodies and how to use this lens.
