Description: Wrist Defects Note- The outer wrist edges on both gloves have minor fraying. Since these gloves use a hook & loop fastening system, the hooks on one glove got attached to the outer edges of the other glove and visa versa. The outer edges of the gloves almost mimic the "loop" material of a hook & loop fastener which is why the hooks can easily attach to the outer edges of the other glove. This happened because the gloves were not in its original packaging in the store so people were able to fidget with the gloves. It's really just a cosmetic issue. The good news is the wrist straps basically cover most of these fraying imperfections. Palms Note- Nike goalkeeper gloves have typical(thumb joints) and mild foam impressions on the palms of the gloves. Just to be clear, no foam impression is anything close to a typical thumb joint impression you see on all latex foam goalkeeper glove palms. These foam impressions are only surface impressions. There is absolutely no tears in the palms. This is just a cosmetic issue and nothing structurally wrong with the gloves. Impressions probably caused by people trying on the gloves in the store. To be honest, once you use the gloves you will eventually have all types of foam impression scratches mainly from pushing off the ground when you make those game saving dives for soccer balls. Grass, dirt and tiny rocks on outdoor fields tear up goalkeeper gloves quickly which is why gloves usually on average last only 1 season.
