Description: This is a true 1/2 round file, hemispherical in shape. Most "1/2 round" files are actually a 1/2 oval in shape. Nicholson files are world renowned, and this is a nice example with single-cut teeth on both the 1/2 rd. and the flat sides. It is considered a "smooth" cut, in the middle between "rough" and "fine". Overall length is about 8", and the actual cutting area is 5" to 5 1/2". The file is not tapered, and is 10.5 mm wide and 5.0 mm. thick. *Great Tip From K.H.
