Description: This is a nice older Romanesque style chalice as shown. This is an original antique. Has fish around the base and grapevines around the node. Latin text on the cup reads:+ HIC EST ENIM CALIX SANGUINIS MEI + The chalice is all sterling silver and has the sterling hallmarks.Marked Made in France on the bottom place. Still with the original memorial on the bottom plate.The chalice stands 7 1/2" tall, 4 1/4"cup diameter, 5" base diameter.Still with the original gold plating. Could be replated to look like new or could be used antique as it is.A nice older antique chalice.
