Description: For sale is the rare larger version of this female turkey (aka hen ) figurine made by Meissen in the 20th century . Nicely modeled and hand painted as one would expect from the top maker! The figure is standing on a little base painted with a leaf and flowers to it and is painted all around so it can be sitting in the middle of the table and she looks great from all angles! The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers and a painter's mark. The bird is 3.375 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 4 inches long.
