Description: Here is a rare 1:16 scale White Truck tanker vehicle made from 1920s Gilbert Erector parts. Beautiful one-of-a-kind model fuel tanker truck modeled after the old 1920s White Trucks. Lots of extra care is shown in the construction of this truck. Rolls nicely, too. SOME DETAILS ARE:Soft taupe colored bench seat.Standard Oil of New York (SONY or SOCONY) decals & paint scheme.Stationary gear shift and hand brake are very detailed & include dash instrument decals.Headlight lenses.Authentic leaf springs used on the tandem dually rear axlesErector part "LW" reproduction rubber tires.All brass & copper piping & fittings. Vinyl tubing used for the delivery hoses (4 each).Steering wheel turns the front wheels in either direction.Rubber mud flaps. Some parts are more modern which were made specifically for the AC Gilbert Erector sets, but this truck was built using mostly 1920 Erector set parts. It's not brand new and may have some minor dings/dents/scratches or missing paint.This was built to be a static display, but has been played with. No shipping this item to PO Box!
