Description: Bronze Coin 1935 AD 1354 AH Egyptian One Millieme Mint Mark H King Fuad I For your Egyptian Coin Collection-EGC363 Details Description: An extremely fine or much better 1354 AH or 1935 AD Egyptian one millieme (tenth of a Piaster or Qirsh) bronze coin. The coin depicts the uniformed bust of king Fuad the first facing left and wearing a fez on the obverse. The obverse also has the legend "Fuad the First King of Egypt." The reverse shows the denomination, the AH and the AD dates and saying "al-mamlakah al masryah" or the Egyptian Kingdom. The coin is brown in color with reddish highlights along the edge of both the obverse and reverse. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: 1935. Mint: Egypt (actually these were minted in England and have the mint mark H for Birmingham England). Size and weight: This is a 1/10 of a Qirsh or one millieme weighing ~4.2 grams and is ~23 mm in diameter. References: It is KM #344. I would grade this coin as an extremely fine or much better with all the details being very well preserved and very nice eye appeal. The coin is brown with reddish highlights along the edges of both the obverse and reverse. It has a few minor scratches, a few bag marks, and some wear to some of the highest points. The cheeks are intact and the hair as well as the suite details are nicely preserved. The coin is much better than the photos suggest. It is problem free and has general wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. The coin has very nice eye appeal. Please see photo for additional condition information.
