Description: I recently purchased a number of leaded and reverse painted lamps that I am going to be listing here with very reasonable buy it nows. I am a picky buyer of these and the ones I have here are in very nice condition. Why buy a damaged or poorly repaired one when you can get a good one for a fair price from a fellow collector of these? Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really nice, totally arts & crafts, table lamp made by Bradley & Hubbard. I have seen a lot of leaded lamps out there that claim to be B&H, but most are not. This one, however, is 100% B&H. Its not signed, but the cast cap that is directly soldered into the shade is the main reason I believe this to be B&H. I have seen the design before and have even seen this exact shade on other B&H bases.....so its B&H.....guaranteed. As for the colors.......wow....just wow. The shade has some of the deepest royal red velvet colors I have ever seen in a lamp. The background pieces are also very nice, comprising streaky greens and oranges, and are themselves quite colorful. What's especially nice about this one is that none.....NONE...of the panels have cracks or are damaged in any way, and they are all 100% original. In terms of actual size, the shade measures 18 1/2" in diameter and is 8" deep. The full lamp stands 23 1/2" tall. The double socket, dark brown colored base is in fine condition overall. It is actually signed with the B&H triangle stamp, but this stamp is pretty hard to find and only those that really know B&H would even know where to look for it.....it is on the underside of the flat circular shade rest part of the riser. The base been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a very nice, clean and original example of a true Bradley & Hubbard leaded table lamp that is in very fine condition overall. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. I am a collector of these myself and always try to offer nice examples to other collectors. I am not making a living at this so can afford to offer things up without reserve or list them at very fair prices so that other collectors can appreciate them as much as I do. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you want a nice quality antique old one at a fair price, you have found the right seller. One last note. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that's fine. But if you are watching hoping I am going to reduce my asking price, that isn't likely to happen as I honestly believe I am asking a very fair price for this. Keep in mind that ebay is one of the only auction venues that does not charge the buyer a premium for purchases like this and if you were to buy this from pretty much any other auction house you could expect to pay a 20-30% buyer's premium on top of this asking price. Still, if you are seriously interested in this lamp and want to discuss this price or some kind of payment plan (which I would gladly accept), please feel free to email me about it and I am sure we can work something out.
