Description: *NIB*Chevron Lledo Commemorative Model-Standard Oil 3 Truck Transport Bundle These are unique and collectible Lledo Chevron Commemorative Model. Lledo produced this series before their bankruptcy in 1999 after which Corgi purchased their line. This advertising specimen comes in its original box and is a perfect addition to any collection of Lledo Commemorative Collectibles. The truck was manufactured in the United Kingdom previously to the year 2000. It simply is a great representation of the vehicle's era. It is a must-have for any diecast and toy vehicle collector. Please see the photos. I bought these from a seller from another site that advertised them as 1:43 scale. Obviously, they are not. But, as disappointed I was about the size, after taking one out of the box and examining it, the quality diecast was apparent. The castings are sharp and even with the small scale there are lots of details. Frankly, I was impressed; although, it's just too bad they are too small for my displays. About the scale: My research revealed that Lledo did not manufacture this to a particluar scale but made them to fit the packaging. As such, there is no precise scale intended; although, a lot of sellers are advertising these as 1:64, some as 1:50 and others anything in between. During my research I found lots of collectors discussing individual scales of particular models with quite a bit of dissent. I do think it is interesting. The '39 Chevrolet RPM Motor Oil pickup is about the same as Corgi's Showcase Display Series which are advertised as 1:55. More than likely, if you are looking at these to purchase, you know more about them than I do, since I prefer and collect 1:43 scale. As such, these would be great additions to any "S" gauge layout or 1:64 to 1:55 scale display. This item will be bubble wrapped and come to you in a small box.
