The blank was measured and drilled before inserting a brass tube. It was then trued on each end before being placed on my Rikon midi-lathe for the shaping using various chisels. When the desired shape was achieved I then took it through a multi-stage sanding process finishing with nine steps of micro-mesh, followed by a three step polishing with White Diamond Polish finishing with Carnauba wax resulting in a glass like finish.
