These units came off assembly stations from a medical device manufacturer that were scrapped due to contractual obligations. They are guaranteed to work. Not all of the units had the same type of low-profile screws but we will include what we have and the set of 4 will match. They have minor imperfections and some have a little discoloration of the anodized black aluminum. The labels may be there or not. The stages move back and forth in in all XYZ directions. Description: The M-460PD-XYZ Peg-Joining 3-Axis (XYZ) Dovetail Linear Stage is preferred for applications requiring heavy loads and high stability. It is much less susceptible to shock and vibration than bearing stages. The M-460PD-XYZ incorporates an 80 TPI drive screw for precision positioning, 12.7 mm of travel, an integral locking mechanism, and our patented peg joining system for flexible modularity. Our innovative peg joining system makes connecting these stages together very simple. Secure assembly is accomplished by screwing the pegs into threaded holes, placing a stage on the protruding pegs, and tightening two setscrews on the side of the stage. Stage stacks can easily be disassembled and reassembled into many configurations. The pegs can also be positioned at various locations on the stage for stable offset assemblies. Each stage has four through holes for additional mounting flexibility and is supplied with two peg screws and four low-profile screws. (The two pegs are installed between the set of stages and the stage between the right angle support). The 460PD Series Dovetail Stages are completely compatible with our 460P Series Modular Ball Bearing Linear Stages. They are the same size and can be joined together with the identical peg joining system.
