Hung them as Christmas Stockings off the fireplace mantel. They CAN be worn but they are extremely thick and dense. Knit wool yarns that have a "felted" feel. Even a little furry! Do not have much stretch for wearing~very dense and thick. Originally used by the farmers/herders to ward off the extreme cold. Made as a cottage industry by the women of the area to make extra money. Can't remember the exact region of Siberia. Measures about 17" long from top to toe. 11" long from top to heel. Foot measures 11" long. Top opening 7" across. You will receive 1 sock. No damage. No odors. No storage issues. Non smoking home.
