Description: This is a new 32"x32" table topper cut of Zweigart Floba Carree 18 count fabric for counted cross stitch and hardanger, with a color of "oatmeal". The Zweigart stock number is 7617/53. Floba-Carree is a patterned fabric. Floba was a common 18 count fabric made of 70% Viscose (rayon) and 30% linen. Carree is a specific pattern of squares (stitching areas surrounded by a woven border) designed into the floba. Carree has a large 15"x15" center square, surrounded by approximately 5" wide rectangular bordered areas, plus an edge area. Look at the pictures. Cross stitch or hardanger designs can be worked in both the center square and in the side areas. Please note that the last picture shows one example of what the fabric could be used for, but the fabric being sold in this auction is unstitched, unfringed, with no designs yet worked on the fabric. This fabric was packaged for sale as inventory in a now-closed needlework shop, and has been in smoke-free storage. This fabric can be ironed with a damp (steam spray) iron to remove wrinkles in the fabric, and can be hand washed. Shipping by USPS mail to the USA only. Sorry, no international bidders, please.
