All CDs that have cracked or broken jewel cases will be advertised as such. If it wasn't advertised as having a crack or being broken but it arrives to you that way then it happened in transit. This does not happen very often but there's that chance... Please do not make a big deal out of it - because it's not. Replacement jewel cases cost between 25-50 cents. We use proprietary, custom developed software to test each and every used CD. This is very time consuming but it is what we heavily rely on when we say - no returns! We perform surface tests, we then check for any read-errors (CRC and/or similar). Finally, we perform a simulation of (bit-by-bit) Digital Audio Extraction. This is all done in a climate/humidity controlled environment/lab. All tests are performed on multiple machines/hardware and are 100% automated (batch processing) so that several CDs are tested at the same time. There is no human interaction except loading/unloading the disks. All test results are automagically saved/logged and hashed (MD5 and/or similar) for integrity should the need for evidence arise, which can and will be presented in any court of law in USA. In 2004 BBC Europe broke a story about an illegal CD manufacturing plant in Russia. Search the Internet by typing: 3500947.stm into your browser's search engine. Now, this was in 2004!!!!!!! Today's methods are much more sophisticated and complicated thus harder to detect. We obtained proof of Russian fake CDs being sold on just about all major online retail web sites long time ago (back in mid-late 90s)! It is impossible for eBay and their employees to know about all the fakes being sold on their site. It would take too many resources (employees, time..etc) and they would be out of business very quickly. So instead of blaming eBay: check, check, check... Most CDs in circulation today are Russian/Chinese fakes (including the 'brand new factory sealed' ones). Good luck shopping for CDs! CD market is unfair and tainted. Playing-field is not level. (That's why this is being disclosed). You're welcome. Original CD in Very Good used condition. Gently used disk - not beat up garbage. Not buffed/resurfaced/polished. CD plays and rips flawlessly-TESTED. Don't see a track list? Plastic jewel case(s) housing USED CD(s) may have scratches. Scratches to jewel case(s) are not considered defects. Not in this eBay store.
