The Washburn Idol Series is a single cutaway, Les Paul inspired series from Washburn Guitars and it consists of three sub-divisions. The Idol WIN is the middle one and contains some of the most expensive and some of the cheapest Idol models. WIN 14 is the entry level model for the Idol Series and starts off with a solid basswood single cutaway body with beveled edges. The bridge is also LP-styled tune-o-matic and a stoptail combo. Passive humbuckers are placed in the bridge and neck position and controlled with split volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. Bolt-on maple neck features rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays. It is available in black, white and walnut satin.
