The Lag knob allows you to adjust the pre-delay of the LFO effect modulation; a short setting will give you a smooth, tight modulation (even a flanger-like sound), and a long setting will give you a deep modulation and rich sound. With the addition of the Lag knob, JULIA has succeeded in adding a new dimension to the traditional analog chorus/vibrato performance expression. In addition, while many modulation pedals have chorus and vibrato that can be switched with a switch or mode, JULIA has a stepless blend ratio of dry signal (fully counterclockwise), chorus (center), and vibrato (fully clockwise). It is designed to be variable. By adjusting the knob between the dry position and the middle, you can freely adjust the ratio of the dry signal. Even when used with a distortion pedal or E. bass, you can adjust the optimal blend, allowing you to pursue a chorus sound with a high degree of freedom. Similarly, by adjusting the vibrato setting from the middle knob position to the right, you can obtain an intermediate sound that changes from chorus to vibrato effect, so you can create a chorus/vibrato effect that you have never heard before. You can play sounds. Furthermore, the WAVE switch allows you to change the LFO waveform to a sine wave or triangle wave, allowing you to add even more variation to JULIA. The triangle waveform (switch facing downwards) produces a sharp chorus effect, while the sine waveform (switch facing upwards) produces a greater sense of oscillation, making it ideal for vibrato-like effects. Additionally, it is equipped with a Rate knob (speed), which is the basics of a chorus pedal, and a Depth knob (depth).
