This disc also contains music from Ibert's Golgotha (1935) and Don Quichotte (1933). A beautiful record that does justice to a remarkable composer, Jacques Ibert. What he wrote for Duvivier's GOLGOTHA and Welles's MACBETH is magnificent and should be played by many orchestras.
