Description: The 1937 feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is still considered one of film history’s greatest successes of its time! Disney’s first feature animated film combined technology, imagination, and exquisite art brought to life. Most of the original artwork used to create the feature film was preserved and what wasn’t retained in the archives of the Disney Studio made its way out to collectors. One such collector, renowned for his passion in collecting Snow White artwork created by the Disney Studio was Steve Ison. It is because of him and in great part that this magnificent collectors book Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs An Art in Its Making came to be, for the artwork presented is from his collection - one that has become famous worldwide to passionate collectors and those who appreciate the importance of animation history. But the crème de la crème is that EIGHT Disney Studio animators who had significant influence on the film have all signed this book. Brought together in a special book signing event which was held at the Howard Lowery Gallery in Burbank, CA on October 8, 1994. Only a limited number of books were signed.
