Description: At last Audiosilente is pleased to introduce the all new aluminum headshell socket connector for all SME detachable headshell tonearms fitted with azimuth adjustment slot (not suitable for the "R" version).Every pin is made of 24-carat gold plated brass and encased in a life extending metal protection for improved spring resistance durability (no more accidental melting of the plastic hub caused by prolonged exposure to soldering high temperatures). This version accepts both standard EIA and EMT headshells. The conversion is made by removing the stop screw and rotating the collet accordinglyPlease look closely at the pictures for the differences between the original Sme and the new Audiosilente EIA-Emt connector: the collet has two pairs of slots that make it compatible with either shell. The overall weight is 4.7 grams, 0.5 grams heavier than the original. Collar bore is 8.38 8.42 mm We also offer individual pin replacement, in case our connector should need servicing.
