These are a rubber, flexible stopper. This stopper stamped size #4X is for an 11/16" hole per manufacturer specifications (for y'all forgetting your fractions from 5th grade math? 11/16 is right in between 5/8" and 3/4"! )Please realize that the salt/pepper manufacturers do NOT have the holes very standardized--some shaker sets can even use slightly different sizes! I can not, therefore, guarantee these will fit your shakers--I do my best to help you measure/decide what will work for you. I WILL take all returns, and will help you get the fit you want/need.
