Here is a comment about this square found on a woodworking forums: First off let me say that I have several [more expensive US made name brand] squares, dividers and other layout tools. I have a 4” Double square that I love, but sometimes it is just too small. I had been looking for a matching 6” square. I saw this one online recently and it happened to be on sale so I decided to take a chance an order one. I was fully expecting a cheap pot metal square with stamped steel blade. When I opened it up, I was very pleasantly surprised. The body of the square is cast iron and the blade is very nicely etched much the same as a [more expensive US made name brand]. As far as I can tell, it is dead on square also. I am very pleased with this tool. For $34.99, much less expensive that a [more expensive name brand] too. (BTW, when it was on sale last week, it was only $19.99). I am impressed with the quality of this tool. I have yet to receive a negative comment about the 4" squares that I have been selling for awhile.
