Description: DBR-10EE "A-LEE-SAM" ONLY $29.99! Our brass reproduction of the Monarch 10ee lathe quill oiler / dauber. Customers also verified it will fit a 16CY lathe as well, maybe others*. This will fit* a tailstock with a 1/2" quill oiler pocket. This limited run of that little dauber or quill oiler that almost every lathe is missing, (or lost if like me when I sucked it up in the vacuum and out in the trash it went). You can wait and try to find an original on Ebay, (never seen one), or just go ahead and get it right here to finish off your restoration or just because you can't stand that little hole on the tailstock being empty. These are used to place a drop of lubricant onto the tip of a dead center to provide the necessary lubrication. The old timers used white lead, (not advisable for health reasons nowadays), which a small amount was kept right there in the dauber's hole on the tailstock. *In almost 20 years of selling South Bend Lathe duabers/quill oilers we know from experience that not ALL quill oiler pockets are quite the same. There are many lathes over the years that did NOT conform to SBL's engineering specs! The same will probably hold true with the Monarchs and there may be some tight or loose fits!
