About the Design Formerly in the designer's own private collection, it was among a group of items loaned to The Met in 1925, and later given to the Museum in 1951. This Favrile vase was part of a series depicting morning glories; the first one was exhibited at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in the year 1900.
