Dwi Woro Retno Mastuti, a lecturer, researcher of the Faculty of Cultural Studies of the University of Indonesia, wrote “Wayang Potehi in Gudo” as a report to her long time researches. The coffee table book of 145 pages is enriched with over 200 photos, written in bilingual, Indonesian and English. The book is not only entertaining, but also enriching with historical recording on the Potehi puppetry migration, from southern China to Java, and its survival and development in the later days.
