Tyler's fiery lead guitar and growling riffs come from a well-worn Shell Pink 60s-inspired Stratocaster, with his signature style evident throughout. The 2-piece Select Alder body with lacquer finish, maple neck with slab rosewood fingerboard, and Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo are all Strat specs from the early '60s. On the other hand, his Shawbucker mounted in the bridge position, the combination of a Hand-wound '60s Stratocaster pickup, and his 1-ply aluminum pickguard with a carved pattern give it a unique and proud appearance just like Tyler's playing.
