As with their previous albums, it was produced by Schmeer of Destruction, and is a must-listen for pure metallers, full of dramatic metal tunes. Burning Witches was formed in Switzerland in 2015. The band was formed by Romana (guitar), a former member of ATLAS & AXIS, along with Serena (vocals), Aria (guitar), Jay (bass) and Lara (drums). They signed with Swiss record label Non Stop Music and made their debut with the album Burning Witches (2017), co-produced by Schmier and VO Pulver (Destruction, Pro Pain, etc.). This album, which is based on old school heavy metal such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden but also incorporates a power metal approach, attracted attention among European metal fans, and the band signed a new contract with Germany's "Nuclear Blast" record. The band, which welcomed Sonia (guitar) instead of Aria, released their second album "Hexenhammer" (2018).
