These are smaller Koma clocks, measuring less than 10" from bottom of base to top of dome or case, and also having a 4 ball pendulum. (All Koma midget clocks have 3 ball pendulums.) Konrad Mauch began producing mechanical anniversary clocks in 1950, introducing a line of miniature movement clocks in 1952, and midget movement clocks in 1957. Production continued into the late 1970's. During those years, he sold clocks not only under his own name, but also under such importers as American Clock Company, Demmler Imports, Overocean Clock Company, and Perfecta Watch and Clock Company, among others. To complicate matters, other anniversary clock manufacturers also sold clocks through some of these same importers. And although some Koma miniature clocks have some uniquely identifiable characteristics, others may not. Here's how we can help you find the right key for your clock: Contact us, and attach a close up picture of the brass plate on the back of your clock (this plate is like a fingerprint). It should be a fairly sharp picture, but doesn't have to be perfect. If any writing on the plate cannot be read from the photograph, just type it in the text of the message. No digital camera? No problem. Along with any writing on the back plate, include a top to bottom measurement of your clock. We will reply with the clock manufacturer's name, movement size, approximate date of manufacture, and the title of our auction for the right key if we stock a key that fits.
