Description: You are looking at a Hand made Native American Peace pipe you will receive the exact pipe and stem shown in the photos. It is brand new, fully functional, never been used or blessed. Would make a fine addition to any collection. The stone was quarried from the sacred quarries at the Pipestone National Monument located near by. It is authentic Pipestone quarried by hand. This is a four winds style peace pipe. Each of the rings are said to represent one of the sacred 4 directions North, East, South, and West. The rings reveal what the stone looks like in raw form. This pipe is very small and would work well as a personal prayer pipe since it is basically only large enough for one or two people to smoke from. The bowl itself measures 2-1/2 inches long and stands 1-3/4 inches tall. Each pipe is beautiful and unique in its own way. Be sure to look closely at the photos for the finer details. The stem alone measures 6 inches long. I left this stem plain so the buyer may decorate to personalize how ever they see fit. The exterior is burned to high light the natural beauty of the wood grain. The stem is sealed tight to the bowl when connected with no air leaks. The stem is made from pine. A single peace cut in two, a hole ripped through the middle and then glued back together. The total length of the pipe bowl and stem when connected is 8 inches long. The pipe is signed “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation Pipe maker, a lineal descendant of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe although not enrolled myself. I’m happy to send any additional photos or answer any questions. I do have several listings at this time and will also take personal orders done through eBay. Thanks for looking!
