New 2021 Belleek Mussenden Temple China Porcelain Annual Bauble Bell Ornament

Description: You are getting a New 2021 Belleek Mussenden Temple China Porcelain Annual Bauble Bell Ornament. It is made of fine Parian China made in Ireland. It features iridescent luster on the dome of the temple and a green shamrock near the base. It comes with a green ribbon for hanging which is imprinted in gold lettering with “Belleek Hand Crafted in Ireland”. The ornament is also a bell. The card included with it says the following: Mussenden Temple Annual Ornament 2021 This year’s Annual Christmas Ornament has been inspired by Mussenden Temple which is situated overlooking the Atlantic Ocean between Downhill Demesne and Castlerock in Northern Ireland. This former library was built in 1785 and forms part of the Bishop of Derry and Earl of Bristol’s Estate. Frederick Augustus Hervey, built this beautiful building as a summer library which was inspired by Roman architecture and named after his beloved cousin, Mrs. Frideswide Mussenden. Around the top there is a Latin inscription which reads “‘Tis pleasant, safely to behold from shore, the troubled sailor, and hear the tempests roar”. Hand painted, mother of pearl luster has been used for the roof with gold highlights and a lucky shamrock on the reverse. Hand crafted at historical Belleek Pottery, Mussenden Temple is the 34th Annual Edition Ornament and will only be available in 2021. The ornament measures 3” tall and has a 2” diameter.
