Another advantage for the View-Master projector is that this bulb will not make contact with the sensitive condenser lenses, which can crack from excessive heat (We now sell replacement lenses). This bulb will not work on the European 115/230 volt View-Master Stereo-Matic 500 projectors if you are using 230 volts, as the switch on those models only controls the fan voltage. If you are using 230 volts, the bulb on the European models needs to be the 230 volt version. If you are using 115/120 volts, this bulb will work fine.
