Description: Nestle's Chocolate "Morsels" Newsletter, Fall 1954, Trick-Or-Treat, Halloween Issue, Vol. 8, No. 1, was published for teachers and other home economists to provide baking recipes and advice to use in their work. The Fall 1954 issue features a wonderful Mid-Century illustration. Inside are five recipes and a column of helpful hints. Illustrations and photographs are used throughout. The newsletter is 8-1/2 x 11 inches when folded once. It folded again to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches for mailing. In fine used condition, this 70-year-old promotional publication shows some edge and corner wear and mild ageing of the paper. There are some smudges from the piece's use as a self-mailer. The address of the recipient is printed on back, and two fragments of the original closure dot remain on the paper. (See the detail photos for all of these condition issues.)
