NEPENTHES CARE INSTRUCTIONS SOIL - Nepenthes like loose soil that maintains moist yet allows drainage for excess water. The best soil mix is a portion of long-fibered sphagnum moss and perlite. CONTAINERS – Plastic pots works well, as long as it has drainage holes. WATERING – Always water overhead. Never let the medium dries out. Do not let the pot sit in deep water for extended period. LIGHT – Nepenthes enjoys very bright or partly sunny. CLIMATE – High Humidity, above 60% all the time. Cold temperatures even for a short period of time can stunt or kill them. DORMANCY – It does not require dormancy but may show slow growth over winter time. FEEDING – any insect that happens to fly by or can also give them dried insect.
