Neclos Fortress - 80s Vintage Japanese Fantasy RPG Keshi Figures, MUSCLE, MIMP

Description: Imported from Japan, Neclos Fortress (ネクロスの要塞) are collectible vintage keshi (rubber eraser-style) figures similar to MUSCLE or Monster In My Pocket, but with a fantasy RPG theme. They were originally released in the 1980s by the Lotte candy company and came in blind boxes that included a piece of candy, a figure, and corresponding cards that could be used to play a tabletop game. The figures are surprisingly softer than other types of keshi figures, but feature striking designs resembling fantasy warriors, monsters, and other mythical creatures. These figures are known to be temperature sensitive and will react to hot or cold temperatures by changing color. The figures featured in this listing range in various colors and conditions. A few are complete with their original cards (featuring a card the corresponds to the figure itself but also paired with a card that functions as a special item) On the back of these cards are stats and rules for playing these cards, but all card back text is in Japanese. I haven't washed these figures so some of them may benefit from a gentle wash with warm soapy water and are are sure clean up beautifully. At some point I may wash them myself and update the listing photos and this description. Other than that, all figures appear to be in excellent condition with varying but minimal signs of wear and discoloration; there is nothing too obvious, but be sure to check the pictures carefully for an idea of the exact item you are getting. These figures are individually sealed in plastic ziplock bags in a smoke-free, pet-free environment, and will ship shortly after payment is received.
