Description: NEAR MINT Pedestal Compote in Honeycomb, Lyon & Co c.1860 With gorgeous fern etchings!This elegant mid-19th Century compote is a beautiful reminder of an old artform! Featuring an elaborate vining motif that spans the side of the bowl, a honeycomb base, and a pedestal foot, this lovely piece would look perfect filled with berries or displayed on a sunny shelf! This piece is likely from the 1860s, and was made with high-quality flint glass. There is no visible seam, and the detailing is elaborate and hand-worked. This piece is unsigned, but is likely made by James B. Lyon & Co. in the mid 1800s. Condition: This gorgeous glass compote is in NEAR MINT condition! The compote shows very light signs of use and wear but no major damage, flaw, or repair!
