Oscar Alexius is a well-known Navajo silversmith who has been producing much sought-after Native American jewelry since the 1970's. This vintage Oscar Alexius sterling silver ring has an oval cabochon mother of pearl in the center. The mother of pearl is set in a sawtooth bezel setting on a wide band with handcrafted scroll work on each side of the stone. The band measures 10 mm wide at the top and 7.5 mm wide at the bottom. The mother of pearl is 6.3 mm long by 4.4 mm wide. The ring features the hallmark "O. ALEXIUS" on the inside and the ring tests positive for Sterling Silver. This rare Oscar Alexius Navajo sterling silver and mother of pearl ring is in very good vintage condition, as shown in the photos.
