Description: Handmade Native American Navajo King man turquoise Sterling Silver wolf men’s Cuff bracelet stamped & signed by artist Richard singer. The stones on this bracelet were hand cut to fit into a flat surface in the well-known Navajo tradition. As you can see, the stones have a tiny rise to them to give the surface a textured appearance. Really good stone with a clean cut. No voids. Each stone is individually hand-cut and exquisitely silver-set. 1 hand-cut stones are set in a silver bezel that has been soldered. The bracelet features 4 detailed silver wolfs two on each side of the bracelet. From one end to the other the bracelet is approximately 5 7/8 inch’s. The opening of the bracelet 1 1/4 inch’s. The bracelet is 1 inch’s wide. Very beautiful and simple. Weight: 44.6 grams. Great weight ! Richard Singer is a third-generation Navajo artist. He is from Standing Horse Mesa on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, the Southwest USA. Richard is of the Ta’neeszahnill (Tangle) Clan, born for the Kinyaa’a’snii (Tower House) Clan. Richard’s grandfather, Tsinnigine Hathali, was a Navajo Medicine Man and silversmith. He taught his son Thomas “Tommy” Singer the art of silversmithing beginning at the age of seven. Thomas Singer went on to become a Master Silversmith and renowned artist. He invented and perfected the use of turquoise and coral chip inlay starting in the 1960’s and became famous for incorporating gold in his silver overlay jewelry.
