Description: The production company, I believe, is Sittre Ceramics and the piece was produced in 1990. She is quite large, measuring 16 & 1/4" in height and 6" at the base. Just to reiterate: height is 1.35 feet and base width is 0.5 feet. From base to the head there is a slight tapering. She wears a beautiful turquoise necklace. Her dress colors are a light lavender with brown/yellow bands and a gilded buckle; coat is light blue with a touch of grey; skin is brown and hair, grey. There were originally two turquoise beads on her coat, but one fell off. While the other beads are attached as designed, they would likely come off if bumped--even slightly. Otherwise, condition is very good, with no cracks, chips, scratches or wear spots. Non-reflective matte finish. Judging by the quality, this piece was expertly crafted by a highly trained artist. Appears to be done as part of a one-off custom mold. I have listed another version of her--one where she has a hat and is more covered by her blanket--separately. The artist's name is written in undecipherable letters at the base of the work. Questions welcome.
