Description: This is a nice Chisel Chip of Native Michigan Copper from the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. It was found at the Cliff or Central Mine. Chisel Chips were made by the miners when they were chiseling smaller and more managable pieces off of a large piece of mass copper. It is approximately 3/4" x 2" x 1/8" thick.
