From a 1973 Overseas Travel Order Contractor is responsible for Skylab Mobile Laboratories operation and maintenance during Skylab recovery and post mission operation, for the acquisition of medical and medical experiment data. Mr. Vale is responsible for the operation and field maintenance of the SML facility environmental control systems, and for the commercial gear required in the SML, in support of nonflight experiments (refrigerators, freezers, incuabatons, etc.) We were fortunate to acquire some of his collection including Space Shuttle and Skylab space collectible, ephemera, awards, photos and astronaut autographs.
