Description: Hello and welcome to this auction of vintage rescued storybook doll lot of 8 used dolls in fair shape but creatively fixed up. A lot of junk dolls. They are over 75 years old and have been played with in their early years. When I say played with it means loved by their little girl owner in the ‘40s. FYI! The dolls have very old dresses. The dresses are tattered and all have age stains. Old age caused this. The dresses are storybook doll dresses. Please see the pictures. They were rescued. The clothing shows wear and tear from years of life. There is an extra dress that is in good condition. See this in the pictures of dolls. They may need stands to stand up. You must look at all the pictures to see the true condition of these dolls. You will note that 3 boxes are included and two dolls are grooms. One groom is not a storybook doll and his box reflects that. Virga doll. There are 2 brides as well. Their hair, due to age, has been styled to stay as it is and cannot be styled any better. They are ready to display “as is”. Please see the photos to view the condition. What you see is what you will receive. When they are dressed (as they are now) they display well. They are to be admired as old played with dolls from long ago that were nearly destroyed by their little girl mamas. Display them as such and enjoy them! They are cute but far from perfect. Their clothing is wrinkled and very tattered. The dolls are darling but they are weathered and rescued dolls. Hope you can do something with them.
