Description: This is such an awesome helmet that I will have a tough time letting go of it! This helmet is named to Roger Olsen who is a veteran of WW2, the Korean War, or even both. Olsen’s name and service number of “12154151” is written on the inside of the helmet shell and a on couple more places on the helmet. “Roger Olsen” and “12154151” is written once more on the back of the canvas chinstraps (although extremely difficult to read). “Olsen” was also painted on the front of the helmet in orange/yellow paint but just like on the back of the chinstraps, due to wear it is practically impossible to photograph and even see. The helmet shell is a WW2 McCord and the liner is a 1952 Westinghouse. The faint rust circles/stains on the inside of the shell match perfectly with the outside of the liner, verifying that the liner and shell are original to each other. Please feel free to ask any questions!
