Description: Naim NAP 140 Power Amp - Chrome Bumper Series In Superb, Near Mint Condition Exact Date Of Manufacture - June 1988 Serviced by Naim Authorised Class A Service in May 2024 - see photos above showing the Class A invoice. All Class A work is guaranteed for 12 months. Footnote - one of the reasons people prefer to buy older units that have been Class A serviced is that they can then relax in the knowledge that the item is to full original Naim spec and has not been 'modified' or tampered with during its long life. Once serviced, by Class A, most Naim units won't need any more work done on them for many years. This 140 Is In superb overall cosmetic condition (see photos) and sounds amazing. Units of this vintage, in this condition are becoming rare now. The front fascia and chrome bumper surround are in unmarked, 'as new' condition. The top of the case has a couple of very minor blemishes, but is still in outstanding condition - see photos. The marks can only be seen from certain angles and are invisible during normal use. Supplied with original Naim box, original Naim grey SNAIC interconnect and Naim mains lead, terminated with an MK plug with polished prongs - all in excellent condition. As a retired Naim dealer, I constantly change my various Naim systems (Hi-Fi addict!). I have several 140s, 160s and 250s in my collection. I like to get them as cosmetically perfect as I can, then have them serviced by Class A. I use them for a while, then sell them on to fellow enthusiasts, who will be delighted with them for years to come (as you will see if you look at my eBay feedback). It's a labour of love and a sort of tribute to the magical black boxes from Salisbury that got me selling Naim Hi Fi in the first place, over 40 years ago. At 699, this recently serviced, mint NAP 140 is an absolute bargain for anyone who wants to experience the famous 'Naim sound' that launched the company into stardom in the 1980s and 1990s.
